Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting

This weeks photo challenge is Fleeting. To me, the word ‘fleeting’ resembles movement, passing and a sense of motion. Though words simply have vast meanings, which can be interpreted in a variety of ways, especially within photography.

Bird and plane

This image was taken on my Canon 500D with the 35-50mm lens. After snapping away, I successfully captured both the flying bird and plane. I was mesmerised with the timing and perfect balance. The movement of the bird, in contrast to the moving plane creates this ‘fleeting’ spark, where each detail is encountered. The bold clouds gently light the the subjects, where even though they are very small, there presence is large. A transparent capture, connoting the freedom, fresh air and natural movement in the world.
