This weeks Photo Challenge is Foreshadow.
Indeed, we’ve had a wonderful summer and its still here and there. However, the grey clouds and rain have been foreshadowing the sun. There are sparks of moments where the sun is expelling light, and some where rain is trickling down our windows. In the past week there have been several thunders and storms, which is quite exciting to watch, however creates that dreary ambience.
Having said that, compared to the extreme weather conditions in India, this rain is literally nothing. The news is bombarded with the bad weather circumstances in India and my prayers are with them all. The news clippings, photo’s and videos surely prove the dangerous situation and the forceful rain has resulted in injuries, deaths and simply wiping out the whole city. Majority of my family are based in Ahmedabad, Gujarati, which is still not as bad as some other cities, but I hope it all clears up soon.
One India news state that the rain is reported mostly in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and west coast, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha and interior Karnataka.
But also in Delhi, east Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
