Monument – Taj Mahal

Visting the Taj Mahal in Agra was breath taking. Having seen images and videos in the past, I have always dreamt of visiting one of the seven wonders of the world. Seeing it in real life was simply amazing. The beauty of the Mahal is mind blowing, where each intricate detail is absorbed.

We had hired an guide for that trip, whom explained the story behind the Mahel, its interpretations and several surprising facts. Everything was symmetrical and thus I wanted to capture the symmetry through the photograph below.

Have you visited the Taj Mahel? Or plan to?

  1. Nice shot, Meera. Like you intended, the first thing that comes to mind looking at this photo is the symmetry. I was there last year and was simply awestruck by the sheer beauty and majesty of the Taj.

    • Many thanks, its great to see how the symmetry comes through clearly as with the reflection. It is indeed a breath taking view. Glad you like the photograph!
